Hospital Visit

Join us for an exclusive session at the Reade Rehabilitation Center, where you are provided with a bespoke tour of cutting-edge technologies revolutionizing patient recovery. You will have demonstrations of XR-based technologies like the C-Mill, a specialized treadmill designed to enhance patients' ability to adjust their walking in response to environmental challenges like stepping locations, obstacles, and irregular surfaces; the Interactive Walkway (IWW), a 10-meter path featuring lines and surfaces that guide patients through six unique walking tests, helping them navigate and interpret their surroundings with precision; and the HoloLens, an innovative Mixed Reality (MR) device that projects interactive holograms into the real world, allowing patients to engage with their environment while maintaining full situational awareness. This is a brilliant opportunity to explore real-life examples of how these technologies have been integrated into clinical rehabilitation and see how these advanced tools are improving outcomes and reshaping the future of clinical practice.

Thursday, 27 June 2024, 18.00-19.30 hrs.
